Peacefully at Cedarvale Lodge, Keswick, on Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at the age of 93 years. Alex Begrie, beloved husband of Kay (nee McGrath). Dear father of Susan Greenaway (the late Paul), and Cathy McCaig (Jaime). Predeceased by his son Douglas. Loving Grandad of Scott Greenaway (An), and Dana Steeves (Tom) and great granddad of Owen, Leah; and Alexandra. The family will be available in the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 356, 21 East Street, Sutton from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. Wednesday April 13th to receive family, comrades and friends. Cremation has taken place. Memorial donations to the Poppy Fund of the Sutton Legion, Branch 356, would be appreciated by the family.
