Peacefully at Trillium Manor, Orillia, on Saturday, March 2, 2024 at the age of 95 years. Betty Staples (nee Lennan), formerly of Aurora and Thornhill, beloved wife of the late Herbert Staples. Dear mother of Garry Staples (Phyllis) of Loris, South Carolina and Gail Watson (the late Ken James) of Pefferlaw, Ontario. Loving Nana of Paul Staples (Tracey), Greg Staples (Monique), Patrick Watson (Sarah), and Jennie O’Neill (Dane) and great Nana of Andrew, Cameron, Catherine, Allison, Harold, Violet, and Jack. Dear sister of John Lennan (Yvonne) and the late Ray Lennan. Fondly remembered by her extended family and friends. A Memorial Visitation will be held in the Forrest & Taylor Funeral Home, 20846 Dalton Road, Sutton, Saturday, March 9, 2024 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. Future interment of cremated remains, Highland Memory Gardens, Toronto.
