Beverley Mary Lowes

Beverley Lowes passed away peacefully at the age of 97 on November 13, 2025. Born on April 13, 1928 in Almonte, Ontario, she is predeceased by her loving husband Paul Lowes and by her parents, William and Reno Pollock. Beverley is survived by her stepson Peter (Rhonda) and good friend Kathy (Doug) Smallwood.

Beverley spent most of her career as a copy writer for various radio stations, most recently at CKEY (Toronto). Beverley retired to Sutton Ontario where she met the love of her life, Paul Lowes. They married in 2004.

Beverley had a quick wit and loved story-telling. Her hobbies included playing bridge with her friends from university, kniitng and crochjeting, and reading biographies of people such as Lady Randolph Churchill and L.M. Montgiomery.

In honour of Beverley, please enjoy a glass of your favourite beverage with a toast to Beverely. Memorial donations may be made to the Georgina Animal Shelter.

Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be planned at a later date.
