Peacefully at his home with his family by his side on Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at the age of 90 years. Beloved husband of Jean Wright-Akey. Dear father of Nancy, Rod and Byron. Step father of Rae, Sharon, Kathy, Marie, Danny, Jayne, Paul, Chris and Wendy. Predeceased by his children Burnham, Joseph and Norma. Loving grandfather of 24 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. Predeceased by his siblings Mable, Florence, Gordon, Edna and Don. Lovingly remembered by his many friends and family. A special thanks to CCAC and the PSWs for their loving care during this time. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
