Carol Ann Tromba, a woman whose adventurous spirit and loving nature touched all who knew her, passed away peacefully on March 24, 2026, at her home. Born on March 11, 1955, Carol's life was marked by a profound dedication to her family and an enduring passion for traveling, both of which brought her immense joy and fulfillment.
Her proudest accomplishment was her family, which she cherished above all else. Carol is lovingly remembered by her beloved partner, Fred Crittenden, and her devoted children: Nicholas (known as Nick) Tromba (Jackilynn Tromba), Sarah Campbell (Brian Campbell), and Kathleen (Katie) Bryant (Allen (Al) Bryant). She was also a treasured Nana to nine grandchildren—Connor, Brayden, Andrew, Caleb, Brysen, Athena, Casey, Aiden, and Bentley—who each carried forward the warmth and adventurous zest she instilled in them.
Carol was preceded in death by her dear husband, Lawrence Tromba, affectionately known as Larry. His memory lived alongside her throughout her life and remains in the hearts of all who knew their story.
Her passing, surrounded by family, is a reflection of the deep bonds she nurtured throughout her years. Carol’s spirit will be fondly recalled at the visitation with family, held on April 25, 2026, starting at 11:00 a.m., followed by a memorial service at 12:00 p.m., both taking place at Forrest & Taylor Funeral Home, located at 20846 Dalton Road, Sutton, Ontario, L0E 1R0, Canada.
Carol Ann Tromba leaves behind a legacy defined by love, courage, and an unyielding enthusiasm for life’s journeys. Though she has departed, her memory and the impact she made will endure in the lives of her family and friends forever.
Donations in her memory can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.
