After a lengthy illness at York Central Hospital on Thursday, January 1, 2009 at the age of 70 years. Denis Heaps of Sutton, beloved husband of Shirley (nee Downing). Dear father of Catherine (Randy) Loitsch and Michael (Kimberley). Lovingly grandfather of Amanda, Katherine, David, Laura, Ashley and Curtis. Dear brother of Frank (Heather) of Toronto and Denise Marsh (Ray Johnson) of Sunderland. Lovingly remembered by his nieces, nephews and extended family. A Memorial Service will be held in Knox United Church, 34 Market Street, Sutton, Saturday, January 10, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. Spring, interment of cremated remains Briar Hill Cemetery, Sutton. Memorial Donations to the Canadian Cystic Fibrosis Foundation or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
