Born on September 21, 1950, in Toronto, Ontario, Dennis enriched the lives of those around him with his kind heart, caring nature, and methodical approach to both his personal and professional life.
Dennis dedicated over 40 years of his career to the Toronto Star, followed by 16 years as a Senior Software Designer with Lexus/Nexus, from which he enjoyed a well-deserved retirement on January 7, 2026. His enthusiasm for his work was matched only by his love for his family and his dogs, reflecting the values that defined him throughout his life.

Dennis took great pride in his achievements, notably in nurturing a loving relationship with his daughter, Mollie, who was one of his proudest accomplishments. Known for his kindness and dedication, he enjoyed hobbies such as boating and travel, which brought him joy and fulfillment.
He was predeceased by his mother, Annie; father, Michael; and siblings Mary Duggan, Mickey, Terry, and John.
A visitation will be held on March 14, 2026, from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM, followed by a memorial service starting at 11:30 AM at Forrest & Taylor Funeral Home, located at 20846 Dalton Road, Sutton, Ontario, L0E 1R0.
