On January 26, 2022, at Cedarvale Lodge in Keswick, Edward Arthur YEATES passed from this life into eternity with the Lord .

Beloved husband of Yvonne (nee. Anderson) Yeates of Keswick. Loving father of Sherry MacDonald (John) of Trenton and Donna Winters of Orillia. Grandfather of Austin MacDonald, Tamara George (Joel), Caleb Winters, Liberty Olson (Justin), and Hudson MacDonald. Great-grandfather of Daniel, Justice, and Gabriel George and Galen and Aurora MacDonald. Lovingly remembered by his sister, Jerry McMullan and three nieces, Cheryl (Dave) Munce, Karen (Norm) Smart, and Siobhan McMullan.

Predeceased by his parents, George and Violet (nee. Sargeantson) Yeates, his son, Teddy Yeates, great-granddaughter, Joy George, brother, George Yeates, sister, Joan Golder, and nephews, Kevin and Kenny Yeates.

Ed's service in the Canadian Army militia, RCAF, career in corporate management, business ownership, and involvement in antique and classic car collecting and restoration clubs, hunting and fishing, antique collecting, Canadian firearm owners' rights, church association, and winters in Florida acquired him a wide variety of friends, acquaintances, and characters.
