Peacefully at Southlake Regional Health Center, Newmarket, on Monday, June 1, 2009 at the age of 71 years. Ed Sidsworth Sr., beloved husband of Carol (nee Jordan) of Georgina formerly of Stouffville. Dear father of Ed Sidsworth Jr. (Marjorie) of Newmarket, Penny Davis (Brian) of Stouffville, Laurie Rugelis (Bruce) of Pefferlaw, Lisa Rodgers (the late Gareth) of Sutton and Patti Tyson (Steve) of Stouffville. Loving grandfather of Emily, Steven, Christina, Stacey, Lloyd, Brittany, Kimmie, Stephanie, Daniel, Brysen, Madison, and Brianna. Dear brother of Robert, Gord (Darlienne), Rose Ryan, Howard and Walter (Liz) and brother in law of Jeanette Sidsworth, Marion Sidsworth, Lili Sidsworth and Fred and Dianne Jordan. Predeceased by his sister Frances Wilkins, brothers, Raymond, Richard and Brian, sisters in law Margaret and Donna and brother in law Eric Wilkins. Lovingly remembered by his nieces, nephews and friends. A Memorial Service will be held in the chapel of the Forrest & Taylor Funeral Home, 20846 Dalton Road, Sutton, Friday, June 5, 2009 at 12:00 noon. with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment of cremated remains, Briar Hill Cemetery, Sutton. Memorial Donations to Southlake Regional Health Center, Newmarket, would be appreciated by the family.
