Frances Isabel Giles, affectionately known as Fran, passed away on May 22, 2025, at the age of 93, surrounded by her beloved family in Uxbridge, Ontario. Born on February 22, 1932, in Seabright, Ontario, Fran embodied a spirit that was fun-loving and spunky, captivating all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her warm smile and infectious laugh filled the hearts of many and made her a well-loved figure within her community.

Fran enjoyed a long and fulfilling career, making lasting connections as a dedicated waitress at Riverside Restaurant and as a clerk at Eustace Pharmacy. She took pride in her work and in creating positive experiences for others. She took every summer off to spend with her children, allowing students an opportunity for summer employment.

Throughout her life, Fran cherished her family above all else, proudly considering them her greatest accomplishment. She was always there to lend a helping hand, offer support, or share in joyful occasions. She took pride not only in her loving home but also in herself.

Fran was a beloved resident of Reachview Village, where she endearingly earned nicknames of Queenie and Frannie. Her personality shone brightly, characterized by a mix of laughter, spontaneity, and a touch of stubbornness that endeared her to those around her.

Fran is preceded in death by her beloved husband, George, who held a special place in her heart and on the dance floor. Together, they cultivated a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories that will forever echo in the lives of their family and friends.

A visitation will be held on May 28, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Forrest & Taylor Funeral Home in Sutton. A funeral service will follow at 12:00 PM, before she is laid to rest at Briar Hill Cemetery in Georgina at 2:30 PM.

As we remember the life of Frances Isabel Giles, let us celebrate her laughter, her love, and the indelible marks she left on all our lives. She will be deeply missed, yet treasured in our hearts forever.
