Frederick Thomas Tiley

December 16, 1963 — April 20, 2025

Frederick Thomas Tiley, affectionately known as Freddy, entered this world on December 16, 1963, a bright spark that ignited joy and laughter in the lives of those who were lucky enough to know him. After a life well-lived and filled with cherished moments, Freddy passed away on April 20, 2025, in Newmarket, Ontario, surrounded by his beloved family, who he treasured above all else.

In his vibrant existence, Freddy embodied the spirit of joy and humor. He had a love for music that resonated deeply within him; his voice, often raised in joyful noise, brought happiness to gatherings, whether it was a family celebration or a cozy evening among friends. His knack for telling jokes would light up the room, and his laughter was infectious, spreading warmth and mirth to all around him.

A man of varied interests, Freddy played goalie on the hockey rink in his younger years, where the thrill of the game mirrored the energy he exuded in every aspect of his life. As he got older he enjoyed watching the Toronto Maple Leafs. In quieter moments, he expressed himself through rapping, channeling his creativity into lyrical forms that showcased his joy for life and storytelling.

Freddy's proudest accomplishments were his family—his true legacy. He is survived by his beloved wife, Debbie. He was a devoted father to his four children: Aaron (Kate) and Chase (Julia), his steadfast sons, Autumn (Lukis), his spirited daughter, and Crystal (Glenn), who held a special place in his heart. Each child was a beam of light in his life, and he reveled in the joys of fatherhood, always encouraging their dreams and passions.

He was also a cherished grandfather to Serenitee, Declan, Alitzia, Dallas, Jonah, and Wade, who brought immeasurable joy and purpose to his days. The love he shared with these young ones was profound; they were the living embodiment of his legacy—a reflection of the heart and soul he poured into his family.

Freddy's journey through life took a heartbreaking turn with the loss of his son, Travis. This tragedy marked a poignant chapter in his story, a sorrow that shaped his character and deepened his appreciation for the love surrounding him in the years that followed.
