Obituary

Garry Hale, a devoted father, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away peacefully on December 6, 2025, in Newmarket, Ontario. Born on December 28, 1955, he was 69 years old at the time of his passing. Garry was known for his kind nature, helping spirit, and a remarkable sense of humor that left a lasting impression on all who knew him. His toughness in character complemented his warmth, making him a reliable pillar of strength for his family and friends.

Garry is survived by his beloved sons, Codie Hale, the eldest, and Jeremy Charles Hale, the youngest. He was a cherished brother to Roy Hale, the youngest brother, and Dean Hale, the eldest brother, as well as to his older sister Dolores "Dolly" Hillis. Garry also shared a special bond with his foster brother, Mark St. Germain. As an uncle, he held a significant place in the hearts of his nieces and nephews: Emily, Clarissa, Laura, Stacey, Brent, and Kim.

He was predeceased by his parents, Marie Irene Butler and Dean Russel Hale, both of whom he remembered fondly throughout his life.

Garry's life will be celebrated with a visitation on December 13, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, followed by a funeral service starting at 12:00 PM, all to be held at the Forrest & Taylor Funeral Home in Sutton, Ontario. Friends and family are invited to join in honoring a life well-lived and the memories of a man who brought joy, laughter, and support to those around him. Garry Hale will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered.

After the service there will be a reception held from 1:00 to 2:00 PM with light refreshments and snacks, followed by a burial at 2:00 PM at the nearby Briar Hill Cemetery.
