Genevieve Phoebe Beadle

Jan 26, 1935 — Jul 19, 2026

Genevieve Phoebe Beadle (née Pierce) passed away peacefully on July 19, 2026, at Southlake Health in Newmarket, ON, at the age of 91. Born on January 26, 1935, in Etobicoke, ON, Genevieve attended Franklin Horner School and went to high school in Long Branch.

Throughout her life, Genevieve loved the Lord and embraced every opportunity to nurture those around her, building a reputation as a gentle and supportive mentor, always radiating peace and understanding. In her professional life, she was an administrator in various offices, a role in which she brought commitment, thoughtfulness, and a quiet leadership that left a lasting impression on colleagues and friends alike.

Genevieve found immense joy in spending time outdoors and cherished visits to the cottage, where she felt truly at home surrounded by the beauty of nature. She had a deep appreciation for classical music, and her artistic nature was evident to all who knew her. Whether expressing herself through art or inspiring others, Genevieve’s creative spirit was ever present.

An active member of her community, Genevieve was a respected Associate Member of the Sutton Legion, they called her Mom, where she fostered connections and contributed her time and compassion to those around her. She volunteered with York Regional Police and was a part of the Sutton Fair Board.

Above all, Genevieve took greatest pride in her family. She is survived by her beloved daughter, Terreassa Ellen Beadle, who was both her proudest accomplishment and her constant source of joy. She also leaves behind nieces and nephews, all of whom will deeply feel her absence.

Genevieve was predeceased by her devoted husband, Terrance (Bill) Martindale Beadle, with whom she shared many treasured years and memories.
