Glenna Margaret Carleton

It is with profound sadness that the family of Glenna Margaret Carleton announces her passing on June 24th at the age of 83.

Glenna was predeceased by her beloved husband, Kent Carleton. She leaves behind her loving children, Jacqueline Slemmonds (Gary), Tammi Carleton (Carlos) and Marc Carleton; five cherished grandchildren; and seven treasured great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers, Terry Sleightholm (Alix) and Steve Sleightholm (Stephanie), and her sister, Patti Sleightholm, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

Glenna will be remembered for her warmth, generosity, strong work ethic, and wonderful sense of humor. She continued working well into her seventies and approached life with determination and optimism. She enjoyed playing cards and games, watching Hallmark movies, singing karaoke and spending time with family and friends.

Above all, Glenna was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her unwavering love and support for her family were the foundation of her life. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, July 19, 2026, from 1:00pm to 4:00pm at the Sutton Legion, for those who wish to pay their respects. All who knew Glenna and her family will be welcome to attend.
