Gloria Marguerite
Weiser
Mar 13, 1933 — Sep 20, 2026
Sutton West
Gloria Marguerite Weiser, née McMahon, passed away sadly and unexpectedly on September 20, 2026, at Southlake Hospital. She was born on March 13, 1933, in Toronto, and will be remembered as a bubbly, vibrant, and extremely active woman whose warmth made her everyone’s friend.
Gloria lived with energy and enthusiasm, embracing life with a kind heart and a joyful spirit. She loved animals, shopping, and time with her family, and she especially delighted in seeing the fall colors. In her younger years, she was an avid skier, and skiing remained one of the pleasures most closely tied to some of her happiest memories. She enjoyed visits to Talisman ski resort, where she could ski and take in the beauty of the autumn landscape. She also spent time living in Vancouver, a chapter of her life that remained part of the memories she carried with her. Along with skiing, Gloria enjoyed thrift store shopping and watching Toronto Maple Leaf hockey games, simple pleasures that brought her happiness and reflected her lively, engaged nature.
More than anything, Gloria took deep pride in her family. Her proudest accomplishments were her two daughters, her son, her grandchildren, and her great-grandchildren. Family was at the center of her heart, and her love for them was one of the defining gifts of her life.
She is lovingly remembered by her daughters, Kassandra “Sandy” Hart and Judy Weiser; by her granddaughters, Kirsty and Roslyn; and by her great-grandchildren, Asher and Misty. Each of them carries forward memories of her vitality, her kindness, and the affection she gave so freely.
Gloria’s life was marked by activity, friendship, and love. She leaves behind the memory of a woman who embraced the world around her with brightness and generosity, and whose presence brought comfort and joy to those who knew her. She will be dearly missed and fondly remembered.
