Obituary

Harvey Appleton, 81, passed away peacefully at home on November 23, 2025.

Harvey made his home in many places over the years—Beaverton, Uxbridge, and finally Sutton West—leaving his unmistakable mark everywhere he went.

He will be deeply missed by his devoted wife, Linda Appleton, and his children Jennifer (Rob), Dave (late Jackie), and Ray (Jill). Harvey was a proud grandfather to Amee (Billy), Alyssa (Zack), Courtney (Cole), and Chelsea (JC), each of whom brought him immense joy. He also leaves behind a large extended family who were all an important part of his life.

Harvey was known for his quick wit and his ability to light up any room. He could always be counted on for the perfect off-side comment—the kind that made everyone laugh and reminded people not to take life too seriously. He was the life of the party, a man with a big personality, a warm heart, and a presence that won’t soon be forgotten.

His memory will live on in the stories shared, the laughter he sparked, and the love he gave so freely.

We will be laying Harvey to rest on Saturday December 13, 2025 at 2.00pm. There will be a graveside burial at Briar Hill Cemetery- 5500 Black River Road Sutton (please use the east driveway). It will be a simple meaningful moment to honor him.

We will also have an open house gathering afterward at the Sutton by the Lake Clubhouse. 112 Roxanna drive. Sutton West from 3.30 - 6.00pm and everyone is welcome. Come to the burial, the open house or both- whatever feels right for you.
