Hendrick Verstege

It is with great sadness to announce that Hendrick Verstege has passed away at the age of 91. Henk was peacefully Promoted to Glory, June 12th at Southlake Regional Health Centre, after years of pain and great discomfort to his body, while keeping a joyous heart and spirit. There will be a celebration of life for Henk, Saturday June 21st at 11:00 am at the Salvation Army Georgina Community Church (1816 Metro Road, Jacksons Point, ON), preceded by family visitation at 10:30 am. A reception will follow at the Church. A private family interment will be held June 22nd in Cambridge. Recognition of Henk's remarkable life can be honored in many ways, including flowers, a donation to the Salvation Army Georgina Community Church, or the Margaret Bahen Hospice in Newmarket.
