After a fierce battle with cancer, Ian passed away peacefully, at home in Pefferlaw, Wednesday, January 4, 2017, at the age of 58 years. Ian's quick wit and generous nature endeared him to his family and friends. Ian will be dearly missed by his loving wife, Kathie Braid, sisters-in-law Sharon Roppel (Don) of Port Elgin, Sandra Braid of Goderich and Yoda. Predeceased by his loving mother Betty McGuire and favourite Aunt Dorothy Jennings of Cornwall, UK. Family will receive friends, Sunday, January 8 2017 at the Forrest & Taylor Funeral Home, 20846 Dalton Road, Sutton from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm, with a private interment Monday, January 9 at Briar Hill Cemetery, Sutton.
