Jacques Joseph Raymond Nadon passed away on September 16, 2026, at Southlake Health. He was born on August 26, 1960, in Sturgeon Falls, Ontario.
Jacques will be remembered as a man of deep character and enduring warmth: stubborn when determination was needed, funny in a way that brought light to those around him, and strong as a bull. He was loving, kind, caring, loyal, and known for a strong work ethic that shaped the way he lived and worked each day.
He pursued his training at Culinary School and went on to work as a chef at The Boondocks Eatery. Cooking was not only his profession, but also one of the interests that reflected his hands-on nature and his enjoyment of sharing something meaningful with others. Beyond his work, Jacques found pleasure in horses, poker, and auctions, pursuits that spoke to his spirited personality and the many ways he connected with life.
Above all, Jacques cherished his family. He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Sherrie, and by his children: his sons, Alex and his wife Marie, and Chris and his wife Hailey; and his daughters, Yvette, Annette and her husband James, Andrea and her husband Dave, and Emily and her husband Grayson. He also leaves behind his beloved grandchildren, Ruben, Aaliyah, Xander, Oliver, Hudson, Haven, Lily, and Liam, each of whom brought joy to his life.
He was predeceased by his parents, Alexandre Nadon and Fernandre Nadon. Their memory remained a lasting part of his story and the family they built together.
Family and friends are invited to a visitation on September 26, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Cedardale Church Of The Nazarene, 471 Pefferlaw Road, Pefferlaw, Ontario.
Jacques will be missed deeply and remembered with love for his strength, his humor, his loyalty, and the care he gave so freely to those fortunate enough to know him.
