It is with great sadness that the family of Jay Frank Henry, 64 yrs old, of Toronto, Ontario, announce his sudden passing on Friday, June 27, 2025. He had been living up in Georgina, Ontario for the past few years before his sudden passing.

Jay was born on November 5th, 1960, in Toronto, Ontario at St Joseph’s Hospital. Jay was the eldest child of his parents Alan “Hank” Frank Henry and Bonnie (Horlock) MacDonald. He grew up in Parkdale and attended Queen Elizabeth Public School., Parkdale P.S. and Parkdale Collegiate.

Jay’s fondest memories were when he was young, growing up in Parkdale. He loved playing many sports, such as hockey, lacrosse, and football, but he excelled as a goalie on AAA Hockey teams. Anyone who knew him knew he had a great sense of humour and the gift of gab.

Jay is survived by his only child/ son, Jesse (Lauren) and grandchildren, Mason and Rome. Jay will forever be remembered and loved by his younger sister Alicia (Lisa) Mae Henry, (Bernie) and his girlfriend of many years, Chachi Teixeria. He is also survived by his Stepmother Diane Henry.

He will also be remembered fondly by his nieces and nephews, Madeleine, Alan, Jacob, Tyler, and Mekailah and second nieces and nephews, Mackenzie, Scarlett, Mason, and Kacey. Jay will also be missed by his many friends he had over the years.

Jay is preceded in death by his father, Alan Frank Henry, brother, D’Arcy Alan Henry and mother, Bonnie (Horlock) Macdonald. As well as his grandparents Thelma and Frank Henry.

There will be no funeral service. Jay’s finally resting place will be at Briar Hill Cemetery 5500 Black River Road, Sutton, Ontario. L0E 1L0
