Peacefully at Southlake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket, on Monday, October 12, 2009 at the age of 84 years. John Routcliffe, of Pefferlaw, beloved husband of Bernice (nee. Duggan). Dear father of Valerie Pearson (Jim), Randy (Dale) and Jack (Jake). Loving Grandfather of Michael, Lisa (Jason), Richard and Tara and great grandfather of Riley, William, Michael, Ethan and Cameron. Dear brother of Florence Russell (George) and brother in law of Frank Duggan. Predeceased by his brother Harry and sisters, Betty Penny and Irene Currie. Lovingly remembered by his nieces, nephews and friends. Resting at the Forrest & Taylor Funeral Home, 20846 Dalton Road, Sutton from 2-4 &7-9 p.m. Thursday, October 15 2009. Veteran's Service conjoined with the Funeral Service in the funeral home chapel Friday at 11:00 a.m. Interment, Briar Hill Cemetery, Sutton. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
