Linda Noreen Grant

Linda Noreen Grant, a beloved member of her family and community, passed away on October 15, 2025, at Southlake Hospital in Newmarket after a short illness. Born on June 27, 1949, in Pembroke, Ontario, Linda radiated joy throughout her life, touching the hearts of everyone she encountered.

A devoted worship leader at her church, Linda inspired many through her uplifting spirit and commitment to her faith. She had a passion for singing, which allowed her to share her joyful personality with those around her. In addition to her musical talents, Linda was an avid traveler, embracing new experiences and cultures, and forging connections that enriched her life.

Linda is remembered fondly by her loving husband, Walter Grant, and her son, Shawn Kohls. She took great pride in her role as a grandmother to Jeffrey and Briegen, showering them with love and wisdom.

Surviving Linda are her siblings, Wes (Shirley) Coburn of Brantford, ON,  Allan (Evangeline) Coburn,  Beth (Don) Krieger and Dawn Edgar Schultz of Pembroke, ON. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews who will carry her memory forward.

Predeceased by her parents, Percy and Irene Coburn, her son, Jeffrey Kohls, and sister Fern Hanak, Linda's legacy of love and laughter will continue to resonate within the hearts of her family and friends. Her life was a testament to the joy of living, and she will be sorely missed by all who knew her.
