Mary Lou Taylor

(nee Sellers)

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Mary Lou Taylor (nee Sellers), following a courageous battle with cancer. Mary Lou passed away at home, surrounded by the love of her children.

Mary Lou was predeceased by her husband, John “Pit” Taylor, and her siblings Bill Sellers, Edna “Ted Sellers, Helen Foreman, and Evelyn Wilmot. She is also survived by her brother- in- law, Skip Taylor.

She leaves behind her loving son, Terry (Marg), and her caring daughter, Karen.

Mary Lou was an adoring, one-of-a-kind Mom-Mom to Karissa (Sean) and Reanna, and a doting grandma to her favourite furboy, Archie.

Mary Lou will be lovingly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and neighbours.

She touched the lives of everyone who knew her with her warmth, kindness, quiet strength, and her wonderful sense of humour.

She leaves behind a lifetime of memories that her family and friends will treasure always.

A celebration of life will be held at the Knox United Church, 34 Market St, Sutton ON L0E 1R0 on Saturday, August 22, 2026, visitation at 11:00 a.m. following by a service at 12:00 p.m.
