Mary Rosean Foster

Oct 28, 1948 — Aug 18, 2026

It is with profound sadness and deep gratitude for a life beautifully lived, we announce the passing of our beloved Mother, and Nanna, Mary Rosean Foster, nee Harrison, on August 18, 2026 at the age of 77.

Her strong faith in God was the foundation of her life. She walked with grace, kindness, and compassion, finding strength in her beliefs and sharing that strength with everyone around her. Her faith inspired her to serve others selflessly and to approach life's challenges with courage and hope.

She was the heart of our family. A woman whose love knew no bounds and whose greatest joy came from caring for those she cherished. As a devoted wife, she built a home filled with warmth, laughter, and unwavering support. As a loving mother, she guided her children with wisdom, patience, and unconditional love. As Nanna, she treasured every moment spent with her grandchildren, creating memories that will live on in their hearts forever.

As a dedicated nurse working with seniors, she touched countless lives through her care, professionalism, and gentle spirit. Nursing was more than a profession to her; it was a calling. She comforted those who were hurting, advocated for those in need, and brought dignity and compassion to every patient she served.

She also found joy in creativity and lifelong learning. Whether crafting, pursuing hobbies, or sharing her talents with family and friends, she approached everything with enthusiasm, patience, and a remarkable attention to detail. Her handmade gifts and creative projects were expressions of the love she poured into the lives of others.

Her commitment to her community reflected her generous heart. She gave freely of her time and talents, always willing to lend a helping hand, offer encouragement, or support a worthy cause. Her kindness left a lasting impact on all who knew her.

Though our hearts are broken by her loss, we find comfort in knowing that her legacy lives on in the values she taught us, the faith she exemplified, the lives she touched, and the family she loved so completely.

She will be remembered for her determined spirit, steadfast faith, generous heart, and boundless love. She leaves behind a family who adored her and countless friends, colleagues, and community members who were blessed to know her.

Mary is survived by her children Carolyn Clementson (Collin), Michelle Dobbie (Jason), Robert (Rae Knight) and her grandchildren Harrison Clementson (Rachel), Phillip Clementson, Katie Foster (Mitchell Wuis) and Elizabeth Dobbie; her sister Carol Hall (the late Milt) She is predeceased by her husband Ernest (Ernie) Foster, her granddaughter Reagan Dobbie, her parents Joseph and Rolla Harrison, and her siblings; Angus Harrison (the late Marion), Frank Harrison (the late Viola), Earl Harrison (The late Doris), Russel Harrison (the late Roma), Willis Harrison (The late Phyllis), Morris Harrison (The late Norma), Cecil Harrison (the late Jean), Murray Harrison (The late Norma), Jean Coates (the late Carl), Ralph Harrison (the late Shirley), Florence Kemp (Rod), Norma Cryderman (The late Ken), Ruth Kirton (The late John), Betty Kirton (Elwood) and Joe (Anne).
