It is with broken hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Mike Harrington of Sutton, ON, on Wednesday April 1, 2026. Born on January 25, 1960, in Sharon, Ontario, Mike lived a life marked by warmth, humor, and strong commitment to his family and friends.
Mike was a man of genuine character—funny, caring, and deeply family-oriented. He possessed an outgoing spirit that endeared him to all who knew him. Mike found joy in the simplest pleasures, always putting family at the heart of everything he did.
Throughout his life, Mike took immense pride in his role as a husband, father, and grandfather. His loving wife, Angela, of 44 years stood steadfastly by his side, sharing countless memories and milestones. Together, they celebrated the achievements of their daughter Michelle (Ronnie) and cherished their grandchildren Nolan, Macy, Taylor, and Sadie, whom Mike counted among his proudest accomplishments. Michael especially devoted himself in raising Nolan with Angela as their own, offering unwavering love, guidance and support after their daughter Christine's sudden death almost 22 years ago.
Although his daughter Christine, and his parents, Elsie and Bryan, have passed before him, Mike carried their memories throughout his life. He will be sadly missed by his brothers Bryan, Rick, John and Dan; his sisters-in-law; and his many nieces and nephews who remain by Angela, Michelle and Nolan's side during this time of loss.
Mike’s sudden departure leaves a profound void in the hearts of all who knew him and his lively spirit. His legacy of love, dedication, and heartfelt humor will endure through the stories and memories shared by family and friends alike.
We will remember Mike not only for the man he was but for the influence he left on the lives he touched. His presence will be deeply missed, yet forever treasured in our hearts.
