Paul Gordon Hildebrand

Paul Gordon Hildebrand passed away peacefully in Newmarket, ON on June 29, 2026, at the age of 67. Born in Toronto, ON on April 17, 1959, Paul grew and flourished in the city of his birth, carrying with him throughout his life an indelible kindness, compassion, and an infectious sense of humour that warmed the hearts of everyone he met.

Paul was known to family, friends, and all who had the privilege to cross his path for his helpful spirit, steadfast work ethic, and an unmistakable laugh that could fill a room. These qualities, paired with his deep love of nature, defined the humble yet profound way he lived. Whether lending a helping hand or sharing a moment of joy, Paul’s presence brought genuine comfort and light to those around him.

He leaves behind his beloved wife, Darlene Carson-Hildebrand, who stood as his partner and confidante through the journey of life. Paul was a dedicated and loving father to his sons: Connor, MacRae, Peter, and Joseph. His memory will also be cherished by his siblings, Margaret, Patricia, James, Steve, and Laura. Each one carries forward the legacy of Paul's compassion and love.

Paul now joins his dearly missed parents, Burt and Dorothy Hildebrand, whose guidance and support shaped the caring man he became.

Paul’s love for family was matched only by his appreciation of the natural world. He approached each day with good humour, making hard work seem lighter and every gathering more joyful. An unwaveringly generous spirit, Paul was always eager to listen, to help, and to encourage—his extraordinary character left an impression that will not be forgotten.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Paul’s life and share in remembrance during two visitations at Forrest & Taylor Funeral Home, located at 20846 Dalton Road, Sutton, ON L0E 1R0. The first visitation will be held on July 3, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., and the second will take place on July 4, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. A Mass to honour Paul’s life will be held at 1:30 p.m. on July 4, 2026, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 20916 Dalton Road, Georgina, ON L0E 1R0.

As his loved ones gather to reflect and find comfort in shared memories, Paul Gordon Hildebrand is remembered for his generous heart, laughter, and unwavering dedication to those he loved. Though he is deeply missed, his spirit endures in the lives he touched.
