Peggy Dickinson (née Shaw), born January 9, 1934, in Weston, Ontario, passed away peacefully on August 15, 2026, at Southlake Health in Newmarket, Ontario. Her spirit and warmth leave an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Peggy lived a long and meaningful life, demonstrating grace, kindness, and compassion throughout her journey. She was devoted to her family, cherishing every moment spent with them. Peggy is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Sandra (Dave), whose bond with her mother brought both immense joy and strength.
Within the family circle, Peggy’s kindness extended beyond her immediate household and touched those of her extended family as well. She is survived by her dear sister-in-law, Julia, her nieces, Jennifer (Don) and Diana, and her nephew, Doug (Lynda), all of whom held Peggy in the highest regard and were a cherished part of her life.
Peggy is predeceased by her husband, David, whose memory remained a guiding light for her; her sisters, Lorna and Jean, her brother Bill, and her brother-in-law, Doug and sister-in-law, Joyce. Though their absence was deeply felt, Peggy found comfort in treasured memories and the enduring love she shared with them. She will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered.
