Peacefully and suddenly at his home in Sutton on Wednesday, August 20, 2008 at the age of 77 years. Phil Phillips formerly of Don Mills and Wiltshire, England, beloved husband of Marty (nee Mohan). Dear father of Lesley O'Leary of Sutton, and Stephen Sweeney of Toronto. Loving grampa of Conor, Lee-anna and Devin. Dear brother of Tess, Hope, Bridget, Godfrey and his wife Sharon and the late Rosemary. Lovingly remembered by his nieces, nephews and friends. Resting at the Forrest & Taylor Funeral Home, 20846 Dalton Road, Sutton, from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Saturday and 3:00 - 5:00 P.M. and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Sunday. Funeral Mass in the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 20916 Dalton Road, Sutton, Monday at 11:00 a.m. Interment Briar Hill Cemetery, Sutton.
