Phyllis Cox (Peggie)

September 4, 1934 – January 12, 2025

Passed away peacefully in her 91st year, at Southlake Regional Hospital after a short illness on January 12, 2025. Loving mother of Kathy (Steve Roberts), Cheryl (Doug Waller), Stephen Cox (Bev). Cherished grandma of Brian (Amanda). Tamara (Joey), Scott (Madison), Jeffrey, Jason (Jen), John (Meghan), James (Jodie), and Nathan. Great grandmother of 17. Peggie was predeceased by her husband of 60 years Lionel (2017) and daughter Gail Taylor (2017)(Karl). Peggie was the eldest daughter of Allen and Reta Whitehorn and sister to Marlynn “Moe” Briscoe (Alf). Survived by her sister in law Joan Sheppard and brother in law Allen Cox (Pat) and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family. The family would like to thank the staff at Cedarvale Lodge Keswick (LTC) for the excellent and loving care they provided for Peggie the past 3 years. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held at a later date. In memory of Peggie donations made to Heart and Stroke Foundation or Stronach Cancer Centre  would be appreciated.
