Suddenly at his home in Oshawa Ontario, at the age of 55. Rick Field leaves behind three children. Dakota (Taylor), Ciara (Todd) and Kaiden (Adam) and three grandchildren Colson, Isla and Falyn. He loved being a father and would always protect his children with everything he had. Survived by his mother Anneke and his siblings Ron (Vicki) and Jenn (Chris)

Rick was known for his generosity and Baseball Skills, 44 years as a baseball player most recently as a player on the “Hitmen” team in Keswick. Loved for his skills as a pitcher and team player by all his baseball teammates and friends.

Rick also spent many years as a member of the Local 95 Insulators union and was cherished by his many colleagues and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to the “Jays care” foundation at JaysCareDonate.com to support children interested in baseball. Donations can also be directed to the heart and stroke foundation.

A service and visitation will be held at Forrest and Taylor Funeral Home on Saturday June 27th. Visitation at 5:30 and the service will begin at 6:30.
