Young, Shane Llewellyn "S.L.Y."



Peacefully at his home in Jackson's Point, on Thursday, September 23, 2010 at the age of 46 years while in the company of his wife. Shane Young, beloved husband of Donna (nee Matthews). Loving father of Sean Matthews (Tanya Foster) and Michael Young and grandpa of Hailee. Predeceased by his son John Young. Much loved son of John and Lorraine Young of Newfoundland and son in law of Sandra and John (Whitey) Hawkey of Jackson's Point. Dear brother of Donna Young (George) and Lorna Hilts (Tim) and brother in law of Willy Matthews. Uncle of Rory and Arik Hilts. Shane will be fondly remembered for his postings on the Lake Simcoe Message Board. Visitation in the chapel of the Forrest & Taylor Funeral Home, 20846 Dalton Road, Sutton, Friday, October 1, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. Memorial Service in the chapel at 11:00 a.m. followed immediately by a Celebration of Shane's life at the Royal Canadian Legion, 21 East Street, Sutton.
