Sharon Lynn Smockum

Peacefully at home in Norwood on Friday March 7, 2026 at the age of 70 years.

Sharon of Sutton, Ontario was the beloved partner of Glen Tryon and a devoted mother to Scott Smockum (Suzanne) if Norwood and Sandy Smockum (Samantha) of Sudbury.

She was predeceased by her parents Norval and Gwendolyn Perry, her sister Diane Perry and brother, Dan Perry, Randy Perry, and Brent Perry.

Dear sister of Joy Webster (Gary), Lana Fortier (Dave), Dean Perry (Angela) and fondly remembered by the families of her brothers and sisters.

Sharon was a proud and loving grandmother to eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, who brought her endless joy.

Sharon will be lovingly remembered for her kindness, her warmth, and her deep love of her family.

Interment of cremated remains will take place at Briar Hill Cemetery, Sutton, Ontario at a later date.

In Memory of Sharon, flowers can be arranged through the Forrest & Taylor Funeral Home.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday March 16, 2026 from 12:00-4:00PM at the Egypt Hall – 6756 Smith Blvd, Sutton West, Ontario
