It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Sheila Trumble, who died on July 23, 2026, at the age of 76.
Sheila was born in Newmarket, Ontario. She spent many years of her life in Sutton, and also lived for a long period in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, a place that held a special part of her heart.
Sheila wore many hats throughout her life — she worked as a nurse’s aide and was a devoted homemaker, but above all, she was a Mom. She loved a good game of cards, bingo, took great joy in the company of her beloved pets, and had a real passion for baking, hunting and fishing.
Sheila will be lovingly remembered by her children: daughter Dee Dee and son Codey. She was predeceased by her son, Tommy.
She is survived by her sisters Charlene, Freda, Penny, and Jenny, and her brother Byron.
She was predeceased by her sisters Juanita, Margaret, and Gwen, and her brothers
Theodore and Ron (“Moose”).
Sheila will also be fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews from her siblings’ families, as well as extended family and friends whose lives she touched.
A celebration of Sheila’s life will be held at a later date, tentatively planned for late September 2026. Details will be shared as they become available.
