Tammy Elizabeth Hillis

Tammy Elizabeth Hillis, a sassy and spirited soul, was born on June 22, 1958, in Newmarket, Ontario. She gracefully departed this world on September 12, 2025, at her home, leaving behind a legacy rich with memories and love.

Tammy was known for her spicy personality; she possessed a feistiness that communicated exactly what she wanted you to know. Her passion for old country music and fondness for beer became a cornerstone of unforgettable moments shared with family and friends. Whether she was riding in a convertible or a golf cart, she embraced life.

Tammy is lovingly remembered by her sister, Tanja (Kim) Hillis Ormiston, and her brother, Charles (Paz) Hillis, along with her cherished nephews: Colby (Meg), Carver, James, and Cody. Their lives were brightly colored by her vivacious spirit and undeniable determination.

Tammy reunites in peace with her beloved parents, Herb and Barb Hillis, whose nurturing love shaped her into the remarkable person she became.

A Visitation will be held on September 17, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Forrest & Taylor Funeral Home in Sutton, Ontario. Following this, a Funeral Service will take place at 2:00 PM. Tammy will then be laid to rest during a burial service at Briar Hill Cemetery in Georgina at 4:00 PM. For those attending, please wear bright colours to honour Tammy's memory.

As we gather to celebrate Tammy's life, let us remember the laughter, the joyous tunes, and the passionate spirit that she brought into our lives. She will be dearly missed but her legacy will undoubtedly continue to spark joy and warmth in the hearts of all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
