Taunia Lynn Borsellino
July 17, 1981 – May 29, 2026
With deep sorrow and Christian hope, we announce the passing of Taunia Lynn Borsellino, who entered into eternal rest on May 29, 2026, at the age of 44.
Born on July 17, 1981, in Newmarket, Ontario, to Rick and Cindy Tracey of Sutton, Ontario, Taunia was known for her larger-than-life personality, radiant smile, infectious laugh, and ability to make everyone she met feel welcomed, loved, and valued. A devoted mother, faithful Catholic, and friend to all, she brought joy wherever she went and had a remarkable gift for building community.
Taunia dedicated much of her life to serving the Church. She served as Youth Minister at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Keswick and later as Parish Secretary and coordinator of the Rite of Christian Initiation at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Kirkfield. Blessed with a beautiful singing voice, she frequently joined her sisters and brother in providing music for Masses, retreats, and parish events.
In 2002, Taunia married Chris Borsellino. Together they built a family centered on faith and love. More than anything, Taunia treasured being a mother to her four children, Nate, Bella, Allie, and Gabe, who were the greatest joy of her life.
Taunia is survived not only by her husband and children but also by her parents, Rick and Cindy Tracey; her sister Katrina (Rick) Hafenbredl and family; her sister Carissa (Patrick) Douglas and family; and her brother Tyler (Lauren) Tracey and family as well as aunts, uncles, cousins and countless friends.
She was preceded in death by her beloved younger sister, Allison Tracey.
Though her passing leaves an immeasurable void, her family finds comfort in the promise of the Resurrection and in the hope that she now rests in the loving embrace of the Lord she faithfully served.
Visitation: Thursday, June 4, 2026, from 2:00–4:00 p.m. and 7:00–9:00 p.m. at Forrest & Taylor Funeral Home, Sutton, Ontario.
Mass of Christian Burial: Friday, June 5, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, Keswick, Ontario.
Memorial Donations: Flowers are gratefully accepted. The family also welcomes Mass intentions and prayers offered for Taunia and her family. Those who knew Taunia know that one of the greatest ways to honor her memory is by loving all whom you encounter with the peace and love of Christ.
