With broken hearts, we share the sudden passing of our beloved son, Wesley. He was our whole world—a loving son and brother whose sweetness, kindness, and humour brought so much joy to our lives.
Wesley was considerate, respectful, and hardworking. He always had a smile and a joke to share. Our funny boy had a tender heart and was a big softy when it came to his sister and niece and nephew, whom he loved dearly.
We will treasure the many dinners we shared, the laughter around the table, and our long conversations on the deck. Wesley gave the best hugs, and we knew how dearly he loved us. Those everyday moments together are now among our most precious memories.
As Doug’s crewmate on the ferry, Wesley was dependable—always there, on time, and ready to work. He lit up Doug‘s life and made work so much more fun. We are so proud of his hard work and all that he accomplished.
Our hearts ache for the hopes and dreams Wesley will not have the chance to fulfil, and for all the moments we still wanted to share with him. We will always be proud of the person he was and grateful for the love he gave us.
Wesley, you were my entire heart and our whole world. We love you dearly. We will carry your smile, your laughter, and your wonderful hugs with us always.
Forever loved and missed beyond words by parents Bev and Doug; sister Kelly (Matt); niece and nephew Blake and Nolan; and Grandpa Charlie.
Aunts and Uncles: Sheri and Mike; Fred, Jason and Charlotte; Ruth and Jimmy; Karen (Tim); Sherry, Rick and family; and Gwen and Pat.
